F&B PORTFOLIO SITE

The Hilton Food & Beverage Portfolio is an digital library of creative concepts and assets that our team has to offer, from branded programs to prototypical restaurants. This is a showcase for us to sell our work and also for external users to obtain inspiration and guidance on programs.

Though not more than a year old, the site was in major need of a refresh. While my web development team is running point on this project, I have taken over as the lead contact and project manager for Hilton in overseeing and ensuring the delivery of a quality product (while also pointing out and implementing a healthy amount of needed UI/UX changes along the way). We will be launching this refresh fourth quarter with a responsive and mobile-friendly site and will then immediately move into a stage of refining and adding further content.

Below are a few snapshots of the original experience.

With a design refresh, we're pulling in fresher, more engaging visual elements in addition to enhanced functionality. Users will now be able to view the portfolio in both desktop and mobile views and can experience a landing page that pulls the latest F&B news, recipe highlights, and top-performing concepts to the center stage.

One of our favorite updates is the homepage for concepts. Previously, users had to scroll left or right until they found something that interested them. However, there was no way for them to know what type of concepts were in front of them without clicking into each.

Now, the first thing users see upon signing in is a grid view of all concepts for quicker navigation, as well as the option to view by region (Americas, APAC, or EMEA) or by type so you can quickly see what concepts work for a grab n' go market or all-day dining. Hovering over each tile also provides a pop-up logo for an added brand experience. A few additional enhancements include full-bleed lookbooks, reimagined navigation design, and tabs within concepts that rotate content.
